This game app invites you to experiment and spend a lot of money. A game for inventors and strategists.Today we will do merge dragons game review.
The evil Zomblins have tainted the beautiful country of Dragonia, covered it with poisonous fog and done all kinds of other unsightly mischief. Your task is now to resettle the dragons and heal the land with their help. This is the story behind this game app from the developer Gram Games. And actually, the game should be called “Merge Everything”, because that’s what it’s about: Merging bushes, flowers, trees, chests, hearts and ultimately the dragons to get better versions of all these things and living beings.
Pretty lazy dragons
In your camp, so to speak, your base camp, you create new dragons by putting three eggs together. These dragons can clear the toxic mist and your camp will grow bigger and bigger. Unfortunately your dragons get tired very quickly and go to sleep. Only with dragon gems can they be woken up again and motivated to continue. Of course, these gems are rare and run out quickly. Of course there are new ones to buy in the shop.
Tricky puzzles and tough challenges
While your dragons sleep peacefully in the camp, you can play individual levels and heal the country there too. Always combine at least three things on the small fields and get new things. The main goal is to free three Gaia statues in each level and, you guessed it, merge them as well. Additional bonus goals can be achieved and the high score improved.
The cross with the goblets
To play a level you need so-called chalices. If you no longer have goblets, you can buy them for dragon gems. And if you run out of dragon gems, you have to wait a long time until new goblets are made available to you. Unfortunately, this paywall is reached very quickly. Just when you understand the really interesting and unique gameplay, you will run out of gems and goblets in no time and then it is time to pay or wait. Wait a long time!
High complexity and long waiting times
The colorful and lovingly designed world as well as the game mechanics, which invite you to tinker and puzzle, hides the magic to pull you in a spell. You quickly wanted to know what happens when you combine new things with each other and create increasingly powerful variations and variants. There are also challenges that run against the clock and also spur you on. Generally, each level requires a smart strategy. But you choose them yourself, and Merge Dragons achieves a depth of play that is quite fascinating. If it weren’t for the goblets, the lack of which will always slow you down, unless you are ready to invest money.
